Training for IELTS

Listening

Your listening and understanding skills in spoken English are tested in this part. There will be 40 multiple-choice questions, and you have 30 minutes to respond. Practise listening to English language audio, taking notes, and recognising important concepts to get ready for this section.

Reading

This section evaluates your proficiency in written English. 40 multiple-choice questions must be answered in 60 minutes. Read and comprehend academic and general books, paying attention to vocabulary and important concepts, to prepare for this section.

Writing

This section evaluates your proficiency in academic or everyday English writing. There will be two essays due in 60 minutes each. Practise writing essays and working on your grammar, punctuation, and sentence structure to get ready for this section.

Speaking

This section evaluates your proficiency in speaking English in a formal or informal context. 11-14 minutes will be given to you to speak on three themes.
